I am an award winning designer, researcher and consultant experienced in strategic design and innovation management, passionate about innovation processes involving collective intelligence, co-desing and technology.

About me

I've developed projects and researches for international private and public clients about topics such as strategic design, digital platforms for sustainable manufacturing and product development, research and innovation infrastructures and living labs, makerspace, fab lab and co-working, industrial design for digital fabrication, e-government and corporaete service design.

My research is currently focused on the relations between design practice and technologies, particularly current interests lie around the design of participatory processes when dealing with artificial intelligence.

In 2011 I co-founded Slow/d, an award-winning design firm and professional network, aimed to investigate the relationship between design and new sustainable production paradigms.

I’m carrying on my doctoral research at the University of Bologna, where I’m member of the Advanced Design Unit.

Since 2020 I support the growth of the regional innovation ecosystem as innovation manager at Junto Innovation Hub.

Furthermore, I’m proudly president of Mak-ER, the Emilia-Romagna regional fab labs / maker space network.

Since 2020 I contribute to Eiber, a non-profit association aimed at promoting community-based sustainable forest management projects.
